What to expect in your first session with this dietitian?
We will begin our first session getting to know each other! We will go over what your nutrition goals are, what areas you are wanting to improve upon, and what areas you feel are your strong points. We will develop practical and realistic long term and short term goals. Together we will go over a Nutrition 101 to lay the foundation as to what should be on your plate and how much. I want you leaving the initial session with a personalized strategy to achieve your goals, confidence, and motivation!

Approach to care

I believe that food is medicine and learning the benefits of what to consume, when to consume it, and how much to consume are the foundations to living a healthy lifestyle! I practice nutrition through helping you make small, sustainable, realistic changes to your eating and movement patterns to help you achieve your weight management, body comp, or performance goals!

Hobbies

I enjoy hiking (visiting all of the National Parks), long walks, talking to friends, visiting local coffee shops, exploring different breweries on the weekends, and family time!

More About This Dietitian

Personally, I grew up playing sports and being very active. With that came nutrition. I originally thought I was “fueling my body properly," however, I always felt lethargic and was not eating a well rounded diet. I realized early on that I was not giving my body the nutrients it needed, which started to peak my interest in the nutrition area. I ultimately decided to go into dietetics to help people feel their best and learn what their bodies needed nutritionally, and why.
