What to expect in your first session with this dietitian?
Our first session will be spent getting to know each other. I am interested in your feeding/eating journey, and want to get a thorough picture of what you have been/are going through. I will be asking some questions to help me get an accurate idea of your (or your child's) health history. I also want to know your goals for our time together, and create a plan to accomplish these goals. Within the first one or two sessions, you will have concrete steps and ideas from me on how you can actively start accomplishing these goals.

Approach to care

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 13 years of counseling experience. I have my B.S. in Dietetics from Michigan State University and I am also a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC). Personally, I was began my career at the same Rehabilitation Hospital where my younger brother recovered from major spinal cord surgery. That position led me to an opportunity to specialize in pediatrics when my oldest was just 6 months old. I now specialize fully in working with clients who have Pediatric Feeding Disorders and ARFID, as well as those looking to reduce feeding and mealtime battles.

Hobbies

I love being outside, spending time at the beach or near a lake and the woods. I enjoy playing outside with my kids (or if I'm lucky, sitting and watching them play), reading, yoga, coffee and going out to eat.

More About This Dietitian

I have a passion for working with families struggling with feeding, I believe that caregivers are the expert in their child, and I am here to guide you! It brings me great joy to be able to work together and reach your nutrition goals for your child; bettering both their nutrition and how your family functions.
