What to expect in your first session with this dietitian?
In our first session, we will take some time to get to know each other. I'll complete a thorough assessment by asking for additional details about the 5 pillars of health & wellness to lay the foundation for your personalized care. Together, we'll set your health vision and individual goals in greater detail, and develop practical, realistic strategies to achieve them. I'll provide nutrition/ wellness education to assist you with taking the first steps toward achieving your goals. You will leave the session with a clear understanding of your goals, personalized strategies, and motivation towards a healthier you.

Approach to care

I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with over 10 years of counseling experience. My upbringing greatly influenced my early interests, as I witnessed several family members going on and off diets, undergoing bariatric surgeries, and taking high blood pressure, diabetes, and cholesterol medications. I knew that food was essential in their journey, and I wanted to learn how to help them. Personally, I have also dealt with GI-related health issues in my late teens and early 20s that I was able to resolve through diet. I now have a Master's degree in Public Health and a Bachelor's degree in Human Nutrition and Dietetics. I specialize in working with clients aspiring to manage their weight, including those undergoing bariatric surgery, folks who have a chronic disease, and anyone looking to manage their weight and improve their overall well-being.

Hobbies

I enjoy spending time with my family and friends and creating new recipes to share with my clients. I love dancing and listening to music. I also enjoy engaging in movements like hiking, yoga, walking, and running.
