In doing such I believe I have become a much stronger, faster, and more confident runner. I can't express how grateful I am for how much Janel guided me and encouraged me with my nutrition. I can't even imagine being in the place I was before seeing Janel regarding food; I have come so far and I almost feel like a different person.
I now know how to portion meals and what foods to incorporate in meals that fuel me for practice. I achieved being comfortable around different types of food and choosing a variety of foods instead of limiting options. I also created habits to eat throughout the day to help me overeat less at night. My energy has improved throughout the day and at practice.
Pre-workout nutrition has really helped me during my drills. In the past I always went into workouts empty because I was against eating prior to workouts. I felt drained. I now feel more fueled for workouts. I feel like I can deliver more without using as much energy or feeling as drained. I have more inside myself than I realized.
