What to expect in your first session with this dietitian?
During our first session you can expect to be heard and listened to as we go through general intake questions so I can best get to know you! This can be intimidating for some, but I really love getting to know and understand how I can best help. From there I will cover some general nutrition information for us to come back to as we make goals for your first session. This way you can walk away with clear baby steps to get started. This is information we will revisit as we assess and follow up on progress of goals. This first session will really give an idea of my coaching style and we will ease into the rest!

Approach to care

I help clients find ways to make the process of planning, preparing, and actually eating meals easier and more enjoyable for people. Whether it is improving the diet with small changes or overcoming barriers to cooking and grocery shopping. I take a gradual approach, because change doesn’t have to be overwhelming. Once habits are formed we start to find ways to take it to the next level without adding any stress. I focus on intentional and intuitive eating that focuses on what to add to the diet rather than what to subtract!

Hobbies

My favorite way to spend a Saturday is hitting a vintage market with some friends and eating at one of my favorite spots. I love live music and hiking or just spending quality time with my husband and dog.

More About This Dietitian

I was inspired to become a dietitian because I saw food as a challenge for many people and I wanted to help others come up with solutions to daily struggles. During the pandemic, food became really tough to navigate for me between schedule changes and different routines, and I was able to find easy ways to stay on track during a difficult time rather than giving up. I look forward to the opportunity to help others do this as well.
